Our guest speaker is Mr. John D. Katerba. He has lived in Monroe for 52 years, and has been the “official” town historian for over 20 years. After doing an extensive family history, he decided to document the history of Monroe Township and Jamesburg. Due to his findings, he had two books published. At today’s meeting, John will be sharing some of the most interesting parts of those books with us.
